CST 361S: Technology Tutors
Course Description
A service learning course in which students apply computer literacy, multimedia design, and technology to assist schools, nonprofit organization, and community agencies. The theme for the course is "Bridging the Digital Divide." Note: students must participate in required service placements with hours to be arranged. Students must be able to create and manage a website.
This course focused on finding a non-profit organization in the community and assisting them with anything computer science related. For me, I was able to work with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County, whom I have already worked with in the past, and create them a website that would house a bunch of information that will be used to inform people in the community about the needs of their dogs and cats. Below is the link to the website that was created.
